How to Eliminate Clothes MothThe clothes moth can be difficult to eliminate from the home. Infested items should be discarded or dry cleaned. Check all clothes that are taken out of storage for existence of clothes moth or their larvae. Check pockets, cuffs and seams. Vacuum often being sure to get under baseboards, along the edges of carpeting, and under throw carpets. Discard the vacuum bag after each use or put a flea collar in the bag.
Seal valuable items in plastic bags after cleaning. Keep screens in open windows to help prevent adult moths from entering the house. Insecticide can also be used in areas that are know to have clothes moths. |
