DescriptionHead lice are gray and a little over 1/8 of an inch long. The lay eggs (nits) that attach to stands of hair. Lice cause an itchy scalp if they are head lice and itchy other parts if they are body lice. Lice stay on the part of the body that they are associated with. |
How to Eliminate Head LiceLice spread very easily. Avoid phyical contact while not in the process of eliminating them and definately do not share personal items such as combs or hair ties. There are chemical shampoos that will eliminate lice quickly. If you do not want to use a chemical shampoo, a lice comb and coconut based shampoo work quite well. There is no need to spray insecticide around the house to eliminate lice. |
