Description

Indian meal moths are the most common moths seen indoors. They are usually off-white or pinkish brown or sometimes light green. They usually enter in one of two ways, open windows and doors, or as passengers on stored food goods such as bread, grains, cereal and other types of food.

How to Eliminate Indian Meal Moth

It will usually pay to locate an infested food source, if the moth did not enter through an open window or door. The infested food source can be identified be a web like material or by actually seeing the larvae. There are special traps that use pheromones to lure the moths. Using a pheromone trap will usually do the trick.
